Romeo and Juliette Sucks Customer Reviews and Feedback

From Everything.Sucks

Romeo and Juliet is a tragedy written by William Shakespeare early in his career about two young star-crossed lovers whose deaths ultimately reconcile their feuding families. It was among Shakespeare's most popular plays during his lifetime and along with Hamlet, is one of his most frequently performed plays. Today, the title characters are regarded as archetypal young lovers.

A redaer left shared thi comment in a review, ""Romeo and Juliet" has to be one of the most boring and ridiculous reads of my life. I know, it’s a classic and people love it, now I see even the movie kind of sucked. Don’t get me wrong, I love Leo, but he and Clare Danes did not have very good chemistry. The actors apparently didn't even get along. Even with her in a coma, this kiss just doesn’t do it for me."

"Ridiculous amount for shipping books. this is media!!!!! this website is a scam. Advertises low prices for books and then charges you outrageous shipping and handling. less than $6.00 in books cost $19.94 to ship. Even for statndard mail , not media rate , should only have been about $8.00 this company is a ripoff!!!!!"

"I ordered a book and it never came. I emailed the seller and they said they couldn’t do anything since it was already shipped. It’s been almost 6 months and still no book."

"ETA: Alibris reply says I have been refunded. How, if I haven't posted my order number? I don't see a refund posted to my account, either. =========================== I'm frustrated by my unsuccessful experience. I ordered a book on butchery from Alibris but received a children's book about unicorns from Puppy Dogs & Ice Cream intended for someone else -- the order number on the packing slip did not match my mailing label. In response to many msgs to Customer "Service", I was told that USPS tracking indicated my package had been delivered, and maybe I should ask neighbors about it. Despite screen shots of my order, the book received, and the enclosed packing slip, I struggled to make anyone understand that I had received the wrong product, intended for someone else altogether. When someone finally understood, I was told to contact the sender on the slip. Really?! Eventually, I was told return the book with an explanation of my problem, but they were unable to mail me an RMA for shipping. Finally, after several tries, I tracked down the vendor listed on the packing slip. He told me that his company and Alibris share a packer, which is the only explanation for what happened -- but then he wouldn't check whether his customer had received the book I ordered! So I lost my money, I have a book I don't want, and some poor little girl opened a package to gory photographs of animal butchery, but Alibris cannot make it right."

"from order n #66429409, made in march, I did not receive book 66429409-1. I did not receive any of books from order Order #67007356, but its been only one month and I have to asume that it is very short period for alibris, despite I paid 29,14€ for shiping expenses."
